On the first Tuesday of every month, teams from various businesses volunteer with local non-profits to support their missions of making Greater Baton Rouge a healthy, vibrant community.
Our mission is to implement a culture of giving back within businesses, challenging leaders and their employees to dedicate time and resources one workday per month toward serving others. We aim to foster unity, show our community that businesses care, and catalyze a transformative change in how business and private industry perceives and practices service.

First Tuesday is not an exclusive group; everyone is welcome to contribute to their community. Success is not defined by the physical difference made on a single day, but by the lasting change in the hearts of those who serve and our community who are served.

We aspire to build a community of 100+ local businesses and 1,000+ volunteers serving every month, supporting 12+ different non-profits each year. Over time, First Tuesday will take root in communities nationwide, touching thousands of hearts, and creating ripples of positive change.

1. Sign Up: Fill out the form with required information about yourself and your company.
2. Attend Online Orientation: After signing up, you’ll be invited to an online session to learn more about our operations and the non-profits we serve.
3. Go Serve: Once you’ve attended the orientation, you’re all set! You can start volunteering on next month’s First Tuesday. Remember, no personal or vacation time is needed – this is a workday dedicated to service.
