First Tuesday: August 6, 2024
On August 6, 2024, we had our 24th successful First Tuesday event with 34 dedicated volunteers working on various projects across multiple sites, including several houses for Revive225 and Companion Animal Alliance.
Revive225
House 1
Mounted 2 ceiling fans
Installed wall covering in the bathroom
Put down concrete board for a subfloor
House 2
Finished the bathroom repairs from a previous work day
House 3
Built a handrail on the entrance ramp to the house
House 4
Replaced the bathroom light/vent/heater
Installed post and built a handrail for the steps to the house
Installed an assist handle near the bathtub
Installed a new AC window unit
Companion Animal Alliance
Volunteers walked and played with the dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters, providing much-needed exercise and socialization for the animals.

A special thanks to City Pork for generously providing lunches for our volunteers, keeping everyone energized and ready to serve.
Community Impact
