First Tuesday: July 9, 2024
On July 9, 2024, we had an incredible First Tuesday event with 55 dedicated volunteers working at The Emerge School for Autism, Companion Animal Alliance and Revive225.
The Emerge School for Autism
At The Emerge School for Autism, our volunteers achieved the impossible by completely painting the entire inside of the school in just one day! This massive effort has significantly brightened the learning environment for the students and staff.
Companion Animal Alliance
Our youth volunteers had the opportunity to walk and play with the dogs at Companion Animal Alliance, providing much-needed exercise and socialization for the animals. The joy and energy shared between the youth and the dogs were heartwarming and beneficial for all.
Revive225
In addition to our primary sites, we had 13 youth volunteers from Pace, FL, and Gauthier, MS, working with Revive225 on three houses. Their contributions included:
House 1 & 2: Ripping out old floors, replacing foundations, laying new flooring, and performing electrical panel work.
House 3: Installing a handicap rail, an air conditioning unit, and laying new flooring in the living room.

Turner Industries: For sending 20 volunteers, earning the biggest shout-out for their incredible support.
Precision Structured Cabling: For their 23rd month in a row with First Tuesday, bringing their entire staff to participate!
First Methodist Church: For providing breakfast and hosting our kickoff meeting.
Anonymous Donor: For generously providing lunch for all volunteers.
Community Impact
The day was a remarkable demonstration of the power of community as businesses and individuals came together to serve and improve our local community. We are proud of the positive impact made and look forward to many more successful First Tuesdays in the future.
