On Tuesday June 4, 2024, more than 46 dedicated volunteers gathered to help our neighbors with Front Yard Bikes and Revive225.
Front Yard Bikes
Front Yard Bikes' Mission is to create a safe space for youth to realize their intrinsic worth, while we helping them learn, grow, and build!
In partnership with Front Yard Bikes, our team of volunteers....
Broke down and recycled 55 bikes.
Cleared an overgrown lot, creating a usable space after years.
Mowed and weed-eated the entire property.
Prepped garden boxes for children's fruit and vegetable planting.
Painted window coverings to help keep the building cool this summer.
Cleaned and reorganized the scrap area and equipment shed.
Revive225
A ministry of First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, Revive225's mission is to transform their community one house at a time.
In partnership with Revive225, our team of volunteers....
Installed a handicap ramp, ensuring safe and easy access for a homeowner.
Completed crucial sheetrock, painting, and cabinet work at another home.
Big thanks to our generous donors and our friends at Walk-On's for feeding our volunteers well.
