A recap of the great work First Tuesday volunteers get to do every First Tuesday of the month.
First Tuesday: December 3, 2024
What an incredible day we had for First Tuesday at Front Yard Bikes last week! This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing collaboration and support from our partners. Here’s a recap of the impact we made together:
Volunteers: 70 volunteers joined forces to make a difference.
Lunch: 560 plates of jambalaya were served, thanks to the generosity of our amazing cooking crews:

Donations: We raised an incredible $3,515 for Front Yard Bikes, along with a generous $10,000 check from First Methodist to support FYB’s mission.
Work Completed: Volunteers helped move bikes, tools, office furniture, and equipment from the Government Street location to the new facility across the street. We also reorganized spaces and set up their new mechanic and storage areas.
This day wouldn’t have been the success it was without every volunteer’s contribution, and we are so grateful for the generosity and dedication of everyone involved.
